    Hi All

Our Injector Light has appeared on the dashboard (2001 Fiat Ducato) no loss of power, after going to several garages including a Fiat one, to get the computer re-set ‘ODB2 Port’, we told Dave our plight he swiftly & kindly sent us a link for a plug which generates it’s own power (if anyone needs to borrow it your more than welcome) so with the new plug the computer now recognises the problem but has created another one!!! It’s NOT the Injector Light as shown, it’s an Engine Fault, so when plugging the computer back in with the new lead it now shows ‘Cooling fan low speed fan relay P0480’, so after that long story, does anyone know where it’s located?!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Tony

      Hello Tony,
First of all make sure that cooling fan(s) is / are not seized. I can’t remember whether the early Ducato had one or two cooling fans.
I think the relay is the biggest one in the centre of the fusebox after removing the cover beside the air filter.
Some early Ducatos do not have this relay, instead they have a small circuit board mounted within the radiator cowling plastics which could be corroded. This circuit board is still reported (as a relay) by the code that you are seeing.
Get your nut under the bonnet and get your hands mucky for once.
