Earlier this year Peter Runagall successfully negotiated what we believe to be a great deal at The Old Brick Kilns campsite in Barney, Norfolk NR21 0NL as a venue for our pre Christmas meet.
During a post AGM committee meeting it was agreed that we should take up this offer for the dates beginning Wednesday 6th December, departing on the morning of Wednesday 13th December. Stay the full week or just a few days, the choice is yours. Peter has also negotiated for us a Christmas Fayre meal, which would take place on the evening of Saturday 9th December in their Barneys restaurant.
Camping will be available on hard standing pitches at £14.50 per night including electric hook up and an extra £1 per night would secure what they term a super pitch. The meal price has been agreed at £18.45 per head. A sample menu is included below. To secure your pitch the campsite is requesting a deposit of £30 to be paid no later than Thursday 31st August. If you intend joining us there please send a cheque made payable to Independent Association of Hobbyists. The address to send it to is:
Mrs Sue Dalley
17 Cubbington Road

CV32 7AAAlternately, it may be possible to pay your deposit by internet or telephone banking using your surname plus Barney as a reference (example Bloggs Barney). The details you will require are
Name: Independent Association of Hobbyists abbreviated to IAH if necessary
Sort Code: 40-45-05
Account No 81204475Currently we have 20 pitches on hold but more may be available providing sufficient notice if given. I have checked with the campsite this morning, they are prepared to hold the pitches until 31st August as they do have one other camping organisation, attempting to secure the same week as us.
So if you intend joining us there, do reply to this post here and do ensure that your deposit is received either in the form of a cheque or direct to bank by 31st August.
Looking forward to seeing you in Norfolk.
