The only thing I can think of which may be causing this is if your images are too large. There is a size limit of 1mb per image, and 4 images max to be uploaded. If your images are bigger than 1mb it will fail. If you need help with finding image information or resizing let me know and I’ll explain how to do it.

      Hi Liz

Tried what you suggested but unfortunately it’s still coming up as an error? I’ve tried drag & drop that also comes up with the same message. We use the same format for our blog, bit puzzled on this.

      Thanks

      Hi Tony
Don’t use the ‘create gallery’ option. Click on ‘upload files’. From here you can select (or drag and drop) the files you want to upload (1 or multiple). The images will appear in the media library. Make sure each image is ticked (and add titles etc). Select medium size for each image. When ready, click on ‘insert into post’ (bottom right of screen). See the link above (31 July post) for more info. Hope this helps.

      Hi Liz

Add Media, Create Gallery, Upload Files, Select Files, Select Picture, Open. I’ve tried various pictures just in case there was an error on one of the files but it still comes up An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

      Hope this helps.

      Hi Tony

Can you tell me how you tried to add the pictures, so I can see what the problem is.

It may look complicated, but when you have done this a few times, it is very easy!

Click to view or download PDF with instuctions:

      Adding images in forum posts

Important – please do not add captions to images at the moment. Just add any comments within the standard text in the post. Adding captions is causing problems with displaying  imags. Will try to resolve that and let you know.

Just added a new feature – you can now select – ‘Add Media’. Here you click on the ‘Add Media’ button – see above. Then drag and drop your image onto the window or ‘select media’ and browse to the file. Image will then appear in ‘media library’. Click on image to make sure it is selected. Add a caption and or title. Select size, position and link if required. At bottom of screen you can then click ‘insert into post’. Done.

Also on post screen you will see top right of post area, 2 tabs – labelled ‘visual’ and ‘text’. Visual tab makes it easier to do your formatting and adding images or other files.

This link  gives a better description of the actual process of adding images to your posts:
