Hi All. I hope everyone is bearing up and coping with the frustration of thinking about where we would have been and what we would have been doing this weekend. So using the time to do a few jobs.

I’m trying to source the strip of 5 blue LEDs that light up the tumbler cabinet by the door on my 750. 3 of the LEDs are out on one of the strips and 2 have gone on another, leaving only one fully lit which no doubt will begin to fail sometime soon. I tried to upload an image but was prevented from doing so. There are two numbers on the strips, A51000439 and HL-P2260812B-5 neither of which come up on a Google search and I haven’t found a physical match either. Has anyone had these lights go and was able to source replacements, or alternatively came up with a good alternative fix?

I will email HobbyUK but I won’t hold my breath waiting for a reply.

    Regards to all.

    Mike

      Hi Michael,

Thank you for your useful information and for that contact for the LED strip lights. It will no doubt be useful to some other members in the future.

I hope you are coping with the lockdown O.K. and keeping well. Like you I have been catching up with a few little jobs on my MoHo and looking forward to meeting up with members when we are allowed out to play again.

      Regards

      Peter

I have an update on my LED light problem.  The first thing is that LED strips aren’t available as a separate part but you can buy a whole new mirror (<span style=”color: black; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’, serif; font-size: 12pt;”>6103180007) with LED’s for £138.35 plus £15.00 p&p which is madness.  But in Google-land I found an amazingly helpful chap, Alan at http://www.sdllighting.co.uk who manufactured a solution for me at a very reasonable cost.  LED’s on 2 of my 3 strips begun to fail so I’m expecting the third to start to go soon as well, so Alan made me up 6 strips of 5 blue LED lights so I’ve spares for the future.  So if you find yourself with the same problem as me, I recommend getting in touch with Alan. </span>
