Hello to all. Has anyone discovered a solution for a hab door blind on the barrel shaped hobby 2007. Hobby classic 600 FM? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Tia Gail. By the way folks I’m new here.

      Hello again Gail and David,

On a previous Hobby our dog decided to chase something (rabbit or squirrel) external to the motorhome, ignoring the fact that the fixed fly screen was closed. It did repair but never looked right, hence the current voile.

Thank you for the welcome Christine. The fiamma retro fit sounds good, we have a Yorkie dog, so the fixed fly screen sounds great. Thanks for the heads up re the fiamma one. I’ll have a look and see what I can find.

      Hello Gail and David,
      Welcome to the forum.
By hab door blind, I am assuming that you mean a fly screen.
I have seen numerous ‘barrel shaped’ Hobbys which have either been factory or retro fitted with a sliding fly screen. One member who I contact regularly, retro fitted his own fly screen, Fiamma as I recall, but he does admit that it was a very fiddly job.
On both of our previous ‘barrel shaped’ Hobbys my own solution was to purchase a suitable length of black voile, hung from an extending spring loaded net rod and weighted down at the bottom with a charity shop pearl type necklace, sewn into a hem.
