IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ALL THOSE WISHING TO TRAVEL TO GERMANY.
We are currently negotiating discounted camping fees with the preferred campsite ‘seecampingbum’.
Whilst I appreciate that there is no such thing !! this is the nearest to a ‘one size fits all’ site, neither expensive nor cheap with the option of paying for your particular tipple, be it golfing, swimming etc. It is the most suitable that we could find in the area but as explained previously, this will involve the use of a coach company to transport us to and from the various Hobby functions. As a reminder, the estimated coach costs which have been previously stated, are based on all members making use of the 50 seater coach on each occasion.
Accordingly, I am requesting a non-refundable deposit of £100 per van to secure both your camping pitch and seat(s) on the coach transport.
Can you please ensure that your payment, in the form of a cheque, made payable to Independent Association of Hobbyists arrives with our treasurer by 15th January 2017.
Please post your cheque to :

For the benefit of members travelling with dogs to the campsite, there is an extra charge of 1.5 Euros per dog / per night.
I do not envisage that any of the planned excursions will exceed 6 hours off site which should be ok for the majority of dogs.
Finally, as always, please do not attempt to contact the campsite direct which has been known to either confuse a booking or indeed cancel a booking totally. All communication with the campsite is to be conducted by one nominated person only. If you have any questions with regard to the campsite, please post your questions here where they will be dealt with promptly.
