Hi Folks,
We have decided to catch the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. Although a little more expensive we are only 15 minutes away and save on the fuel south and the drive up on the other side of the channel. Not to mention all the traffic holdups. I have not booked it yet, but will wait to see where others are deciding to camp and then will make my plans.
If anyone else is thinking of the same crossing, I know of a CL site which we have used before and he has now fitted hard standings. The site is even closer to the terminal than us. I will pass on the info’ to anyone who is interested.
It is our intention to stay on beyond the visit to visit other lands afar, so we can be counted in.
